Volunteer Opportunities
Make a difference with your time. By donating a few hours a week to the pro-life cause, you’ll be able to connect with clients of all faiths and backgrounds—and you’ll share the power of the Gospel.
Volunteers also play an important role in sharing Mosaic’s work with the surrounding community. Whether you’re sharing with your local church, Bible study, or homeschool group, we’re grateful for your help spreading the word about LIFE.
Become a Mosaic Ambassador
A Mosaic Ambassador has one goal: to clearly communicate Mosaic’s mission with the community. You’ll be provided with a packet of information that clearly defines all of our services, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. By broadcasting our services to friends, family, and church members, you’ll help us spread the word about the free services we provide while growing our community of donors, supporters, and volunteers.
Fill a Volunteer Position at the Clinic
We have a number of volunteer positions open in both of our clinics. Positions include advocate counseling for both male and female clients, answering phones and reception, and special events or projects. Most of these positions require a commitment of 2-3 hours a week.
Stock the Baby Boutique or Host a Baby Shower
Addicted to shopping for baby clothes? We have dozens of young moms in need of essentials like diapers, strollers, car seats, pacifiers, and formula. You can work directly with our Earn While You Learn team to provide much-needed items to a mother or family in need. This is just one way we surround women and families facing unplanned pregnancies with tangible and material support.
Church Partnerships
As a parachurch organization, we count on the support of church partners across Northern Virginia to get the word out about Mosaic’s services. Our team regularly speaks at churches about conception, the sanctity of human life, and the power of post-abortion forgiveness for hurting women and men. Your church can get involved with Mosaic Virginia by hosting a Baby Bottle Campaign, becoming monthly donors, gathering a team for Mosaic Miles for Life, or hosting a table at our fundraising Gala.
Attend Upcoming Events
We love connecting with passionate pro-lifers in the community! Our yearly events will focus on the work we’re doing here in Northern Virginia (expect to hear some amazing client testimonies) and provide education to the community. You’ll have an opportunity to help fundraise and keep the mission going—particularly through events like our fundraising Gala and Mosaic Miles for Life.
Adopt a Client for Christmas
Many of the parents and families we serve live below the poverty line. They’ve made the brave decision to keep their baby in spite of whatever challenges they may face. But they need Christ’s love and community support to thrive. During the holiday season, many small groups and church partners select a Mosaic client to “adopt.” This client will put together a wish list of much-needed items for their family. Purchased items may be delivered directly to the client or to the Mosaic center. It’s a fun and rewarding way to give back.

It’s hard to grasp the weight of God’s glory and work without seeing it firsthand! We regularly invite friends, potential volunteers, and supporters to visit Mosaic Virginia for a tour. During your visit, we’ll share the most up-to-date information about the pro-life movement and recent legislation. You’ll also see how we’re making a difference together for hundreds of families in the community.
After your tour, you’ll feel empowered with knowledge about pregnancy care, post-abortion healing, and the battles faced by abortion-minded women. You’ll be prepared to cultivate a life-first mindset in your community and beyond.
