Sanctity of Life

As we prepare our hearts for the Thanksgiving and Christmas season—thanking God for His blessings and celebrating the miracle of Jesus’ birth—another special time is approaching: Sanctity of Human Life Month this January.

This is a special season when the Body of Christ unites to pray, teach, and advocate for the value of every human life. Now more than ever, we feel called to equip and partner with churches in our community to share God’s heart for life.

Many times, it’s within the pews of our churches that women and men silently wrestle with past abortions, unplanned pregnancies, or fear for the future. We believe the Church can be a place of healing, hope, and truth—where grace meets courage.

Here are a few ways your church can participate in Sanctity of Life Month:

Dedicate a Sunday to teaching on the sanctity of life during January.

  • Invite Mosaic Virginia to host an information table, sharing our free medical, counseling, and support services for women and men.
  • Show one of our testimony videos — the powerful story of a couple who once wished for no heartbeat but today rejoice as they hold their precious baby.
  • Would you prayerfully consider taking up a special offering to support Mosaic’s mission of life and restoration?
  • One of our staff members would be happy to share at your church if you would consider opening a time for us to speak.
