A MESSAGE FROM NIKI MATTSON & FRED AVILA
Life is the masterpiece of God’s creation—and we’re so thankful for you, our Mosaic friends, who stand in the gap to protect it.
This year, we grieved over public policy and legislation that actively chose
not to value Life as a basic human right. Yet, we operated in a hope fueled by Christ—who moves mountains and hearts to fearlessly protect babies in the womb.
As we embark on our 30th year of service to Northern Virginia, we can’t help but stand in awe at God’s faithfulness to Mosaic and to every individual who walks through our doors. It truly never ceases to amaze us.
In 2023, we focused on finding new avenues for client advertising. While navigating growth and unforeseen challenges, we researched new strategies to reach abortion- minded women in a world that’s increasingly hostile to our work.
Praise God, these challenges never stopped our mission. We served more clients than ever before and welcomed 268 precious babies to the Mosaic family. Thanks to you and our generous community, we provided food, clothing, baby items, and other necessities to hundreds of new parents. More than 152 parents received biblical education, discipleship, and mentoring to help them raise their families well. We also completed the final steps toward opening the Mosaic House maternity home to be launched in 2024.
The stories included in this Annual Report are real testimonies of God’s faithfulness to struggling families and their preborn babies in 2023. This report reflects the incredible impact our community, the Mosaic family, has made in the lives of so many. We hope you are encouraged by all that He is doing through your gifts and prayers.
As we move forward, our mission and commitment to protecting preborn Life is unwavering. We’re grateful for your part in it—and are excited to share even more wins with you as this journey continues.
